Most of the information SelectRx gathers comes directly from what you provide during your initial signup. After the signup process, they contact your provider and/or previous pharmacy to gather prescription information, including the names, strengths, and quantities of your medications; dosing instructions; refills; provider(s); and other pertinent information.
Your medication box should be stored in a cool climate, away from humidity, and in a safe place that you’ll remember so you can take your medications at the appropriate times every day. The box is not child-resistant and should be kept out of reach of children.
SelectRx will be able to manage any medication changes like additions, discontinuations, and changes in strength, but please contact SelectRx immediately upon any prescription changes so we can properly communicate with your doctor(s) to make accommodations.
You can expect your first shipment of medications within 4 to 6 weeks. During the initial processing phase, the SelectRx team will work closely with your doctors, current pharmacy, and/or insurance provider to transfer all your active prescriptions into the SelectRx system. Their pharmacist will contact you for an initial medication review to ensure you’re getting all of the support and benefits you need, then begin processing your medications.
No, your medication box will be refilled and delivered automatically each month. A SelectRx team member will work directly with your doctor(s) and insurance to renew your prescriptions, but it is very important that you notify SelectRx of any changes (such as dosage increases or decreases, discontinued medicines, address changes, etc.), as they may affect your next box.
Outside of the copays set by your plan, there is no additional cost for SelectRx, and shipping is free.
